New newer newest !

The question is does new always necessarily mean better ?

Well the whole point of having something new if its not better is pointless, nevertheless even then we come across situations when we replace old (useful) things with their newer version. And then we can't escape the disappointment that actually the older one was more useful, or in some cases effective.

Marketing is one such area where this concept is used the most, to I would say exploit the customers. A newer version of a product doesn't necessarily and always mean a useful product.
Well of course there are certain situations when having a newer version is the only way. Like when a new functionality is to be implemented, or the older one is no more usable or probably when you want to increase the price of your product suddenly. I guess you don't have any other option then.;p

Well well well, if old is gold, then newer will never be sold !
